Horsham Veterinary Hospital has served local pets since 1986, focusing on providing superior veterinary care in a warm setting that fosters the well-being of pets and owners alike. We use the latest technology and cutting-edge equipment at our hospital and other facilities, and our knowledgeable, caring team of 6 veterinarians and 30 support personnel is positioned to accommodate our patients’ diverse needs.

In addition to diagnostic and routine medical care, we provide a full array of services, including state of the art traditional, orthopedic, and laser surgery. Other areas of care include dermatology, ophthalmology, dentistry, cardiology, vaccinations, boarding, grooming, and medications.

Our diagnostic services include radiology, ultrasound, endoscopy, echocardiography, and laboratory analysis. Our doctors are members of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and the Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Association (PVMA). Horsham Veterinary Hospital is certified by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA).

    Dr. Kevin Wray

    Lead Veterinarian

    Dr. Kevin Wray graduated with a Bachelor of Science in biology in 2004 from Bucknell University and then went on to earn his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania in 2008. Dr. Wray is originally from Pennsylvania, and moved to Connecticut in 2008 after graduating from veterinary school. He enjoys hiking, photography, mountain biking and remodeling his house in his spare time. He shares his house with his dog, Addie, and three cats, Taz, Missy and Blase.

    Dr. Amie Balandovich

    Veterinarian

    Dr. Amie Balandovich graduated from the University of Minnesota Veterinary School in 1995. She joined the staff of Horsham Veterinary Hospital in 2005. Previously she worked with marine mammals and wildlife and in an emergency clinic. Her veterinary interests include internal medicine and dermatology. When not working, Dr. Balandovich enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and pets.

    Dr. Christine Tranchida

    Veterinarian

    Dr. Christine Tranchida, VMD, grew up in nearby Fort Washington and attended the Colonial School District. She earned her BA in Biology at Lehigh University, graduating in 1992. She then attended The University of Pennsylvania Veterinary School and graduated in 1996. After spending her first year as a veterinarian in Souderton, Dr. Tranchida starting work at Horsham Veterinary Hospital in 1997. She has remained at that practice ever since.     Dr. Donna Riddle

    Veterinarian

    Dr. Donna Riddle received her bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from Pennsylvania State University and her master’s degree in Clinical Microbiology from the Medical College of Pennsylvania before graduating from The University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. She is a board-certified medical technologist and worked for many years in the laboratory at the Medical College of Pennsylvania, the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, and Bryn Mawr Hospital.     Dr. Garthwaite earned his VMD from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and has been a small animal veterinarian since 2015.
